Word Study: The Word of God =The Mind of Christ
BYTES~ Word Study:
The Word of God=Mind of Christ
1 Corinthians 2:16 For who has known the mind of the Lord that he may instruct Him? But we have the mind of Christ.
This Is Truth=
Jesus Is The Word of God
The Word of God & The Mind of Christ.
Logos Theos=The Word of God.
Logos means something said (including the thought); by implication a topic (subject of discourse) also reasoning (the mental faculty) or motive; by extension a computation; specifically (with the article in John) the Divine Expression (that is Christ); Word (Christ).
Theos means God.
The Mind of Christ=Nous Christos.
Nous describes the intellect, that is, the mind (divine or human; in thought feeling or will); by implication, meaning: - mind, understanding.
Christos means Christ, Anointed One, the Messiah, the Christ.
How can the Mind of Christ, Nous Christos, be equal with the Word of God, Logos Theos? How can these things be? Well, as we know:
John 1:1 In the Beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
And who is "The Word of God, The Logos Theos" who was in the Beginning of all things with God, you may ask? God the Son, Jesus Christ.
Revelation 19:11-16 Now I saw Heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. and He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.
Jesus is the Word of God, made flesh, who dwelt among us.
John 1:14 And the Word, the Logos, became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only Begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
God does not call, nor does He acknowledge, any other person or being as His Son or His Word {His Logos, His thought, His spoken Word, His reasoning, His motive} except Jesus Christ, His only Begotten Son, the One who gave His life for the sins of mankind, to reconcile those who would believe to God; Who joyfully gave His life so many could make their Home with Him in Eternity.
John 3:13-17 No one has ascended to Heaven but He who came down from Heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in Heaven. And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have Eternal Life. For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have Everlasting Life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

God is Truth and His Word Is Truth
John 17:17 [AMPC] Sanctify them [purify, consecrate, separate them for Yourself, and make them holy] by the Truth; Your Word is Truth.
Jesus, The Living Logos, or Word, of God, is and always will be...
John 14:16 [AMPC] I Am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.
No one can come to the Father except through The Word, Jesus Christ.
Jesus is the Word of God who shows us The Way of Truth, and His Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth, will always lead the seeker in the Way of Truth.
John 4:24 God is a Spirit (a spiritual Being) and those who worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth (reality).
1 John 5:6 This is He Who came by water and blood --Jesus Christ (the Messiah); not only by water, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit Who bears witness, because the Spirit is Truth.
Therefore, if you believe that Jesus is The Word of God, and you believe that God always tells the Truth, that God cannot lie, and that His Word is Truth, then you should not struggle to believe that God's Word, the Bible, Jesus in print, contains God's power in every word.

The Word of God Contains The Power Thoughts of God Toward You
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
So how can we know God's thoughts towards us, His thoughts of peace, hope and of a good future for each one of us? Through the Word of God, the Bible, of course. This contains God's power thoughts towards mankind and for the earth.
God has good plans for good works for each person which He set in place pre-earth. Yet it is our choice as to whether we will receive all the good things that God has in store for us, or not. But we will not be able to receive all God has ordained for our lives without the transformation and renewing of our minds through daily meditation, study, obedience to, praying and acting on the Word of God, that is, acting on the thoughts of Jesus Christ.

God Has Given Us The Mind of Christ
The Holy Spirit tells us, through Paul, that He has given those who believe in the name of Jesus, the Son of God, the mind of the One they believe in. Now that does not mean He has given us Christ's literal mind. Rather it means that, when you are Born Again and baptized in the Holy Spirit, that then God gives you the ability to think like Christ in all things.
1 Peter 1:2-4 Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His Divine Power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the Divine Nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.
God, through His Divine Power and by His abundant grace, has given us the means to receive all we need through increasing in the knowledge of Him through daily reading, study, prayer, meditating on and then acting in faith on The Word of God. We can have The Mind of Christ, Jesus' thoughts, perspective and Truth about everything happening in our lives, keeping all we say and do in-sync with God's will, if we put faith in what we already have: the Mind of Christ.

The Mind Governed By The Flesh Brings Death
Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death,
The mind governed by the flesh is a mind that repels and resists the light of God and is easily overcome by the darkness.
The mind governed by the flesh embraces lies blindly, thus rejecting God's Truth.
The mind governed by the flesh frequently indulges itself in pity-parties, depression, despair, feelings of loneliness, wears isolation as a badge of honour, is full of fear, anxiety, dread, anger, envy and even hatred towards others.
The mind governed by the flesh tells itself nothing good is possible with God; that God either cannot or will not come through for you.
The mind governed by the flesh is weak, faithless, full of complaining and murmuring, and believes God, people and the world are treating them unfairly.
The mind of the flesh has no peace in it. It is filled with turmoil, anxiety, negativity, and is fearful about everything.
Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. So then, those in the flesh cannot please God.
The mind governed by the flesh is enmity with God. It is an enemy of God, in other words. The thoughts of the mind governed by the flesh have an inclination to think thoughts contrary to God and to His Word, Jesus Christ. These thoughts are an enemy to the Truth and to the things of God. It fights, rebels against, rejects and disobeys God.
God cannot get a word in edge-wise when our thoughts are governed by anything negative, in other words. We struggle to hear Jesus when we are in the flesh. All we hear and agree with are the lies the enemy feeds us which causes us to act out which then leads to rejection, isolation, doubt and unbelief. That is why the Bible emphasizes, So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

The Mind Governed By The Spirit Is Life and Peace
Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death (physical or spiritual; literally or figuratively), but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
The mind governed by the Spirit, on the other hand, is a mind found in peace, a mind that is always inclined to life, hope and faith in God. Those who live by the leading of the Holy Spirit are aligned with God and so please God. They think like God because they have spent time developing the mind of Christ which is in them.
Romans 8:13 For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.
I think we all want to live and enjoy our own Journey of life. It is possible if we train our thoughts to be governed by the mind, the thoughts, opinions and intents of Christ, The Word of God, in other words.

Develop What Is Already In You
The Word of God = The Mind of Christ. It is up to you to develop what is already in you by acting on the Truth of God's Word to you. You have the mind of Christ. The mind of Christ is in you. It is up to you to use it or not. You have to train your spirit and your mind to be governed by the Spirit of God. You do this by:
1. Reading the Word of God on a daily basis.
2. Studying the Word, digging deeper to reveal the mysteries God has concealed for those maturing in the things of God.
3. Meditating the Word of God. Just sitting quietly and thinking deeply about what God has said in His Word brings clarity and understanding of the Word. Meditating is also muttering the Word under your breath throughout the day, then adding faith to the Word so it can bring life, strength, hope and all your needs met on a daily basis.
4. Praying the Word connects your spirit to the Holy Spirit bringing you the revelation, wisdom and strength inherent in the Word needed to negotiate everyday life.
5. Obeying the Word of God and the voice of His Spirit is essential in developing the Mind of Christ in you.
Acting on the Word is vital to being conformed to the image of God's Son, Jesus Christ. Doing the Word shows you have faith in the Word, and putting your faith in God always brings good results! {See Mark 11:22-26}.

What Will You Do With The Truth?
So, what will you do with the Truth that you have the mind of Christ in you and with you at all times? Will you use it for what God intended? Or will you continue to neglect to use the great gift God has so graciously bestowed upon you, a gift that will continue to give to you, bringing you all you need in every situation? Will you strive to live by this truth daily, that you have the mind of Christ? Will you fight and refute the lies of the devil with the Truth of God found in His Word? Or will you keep bowing the knee to the cares of this life, the opinions of people, and the attacks of the enemy?
What will you do with the Truth?
