BYTES~   Word Study:  God's Highlights Nun|  Your Word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path. Psalms 119:105 Highlights God's Word is a lamp to our feet.   That  is, God's Word glistens on, or lights up, the road ahead of us. We do not need to stumble around in the darkness of confusion or in that tunnel of voices which so easily distract us.  God's Word is also a light unto our path . It's as if God highlights the best path for us to take especially when we come to a bend in the road.   Just as you and I use highlights to call attention to high points, to things of major significance to us, or to illuminate text that holds special interest for us, so God uses His  highlights  to emphasize things of importance as we read His Word or as we go about our daily lives.  God's Highlights , well, stand out like Highlights .
