Prophetic Insight

BYTES~ Prophetic Insight

by Meaghan Spies

Ecclesiastes 10:20 Curse not the king, no not in thy thought; and curse not the rich in thy bedchamber; for a bird of the air shall carry the voice, and that which hath wings shall tell the matter.

Every thought you think and every word you speak is being monitored by God, by angels and by demons. What you say in the dark will eventually find its way to the light. You cannot get away from what you think and say. Your proclamations and declarations will accomplish that which you have sent it to.

Speak against the government and eventually others will know your political stance or affiliation. Curse the rich from a jealous heart and many will be able to discern your envy and the root of bitterness lodged in your heart.

Two types of creatures are being referenced in this verse:

1.      The bird of the air

2.    That which hath wings.

Have you ever wondered how it was possible, from the natural standpoint, how you just know ‘things?’ Have you walked into a room and knew those present were gossiping about you? Can you discern what is in another’s heart without them having said a word? Has something you thought someone was thinking about you caused anger and division in your heart?

These are two types of Prophetic Insight from two different sources! One comes from the bird of the air. Thoughts seemed to be snatched, literally, from the air, from the ruler of said realm with anger, jealousy, rage, dissension, rebellion, malcontent, bitterness and evil thoughts becoming yours. This form of Prophetic Insight is hazardous to your health, and may even boil over into thoughts of harming others. Some even call the hatred, criticism, cynicism and evil speak towards others, especially towards shepherds after God’s own heart, a word from God.

The second type of Prophetic Insight is received and delivered by that which hath wings. Both angels and demons are listening to your conversation and inner grumblings. The day of reckoning will come for all. Be careful, then, who and what you allow into your heart and mind. Consider carefully who or what the source of your Prophetic Insight is. Bring what you find in your mind first before the Lord before you let the air hear your voice and before you are ready to declare a matter.

God is listening. God is watching what you will do. Make sure you are paying attention to you, too.
